Recently, the differential Beidou high-precision positioning system in Xinshuo Railway Dazhun line and Zhunchi line was successfully operated on a trial basis, marking that the system was put into use in the whole line of Xinshuo Railway of China Energy, which is another important breakthrough in the construction of intelligent railroad of China Energy.

The system is a high-precision satellite navigation and positioning system that can meet the application needs of five major production scenarios, such as informatization construction of the Xinshuo Railway of the China Energy, safety protection of railroad line operation, transmission of production and monitoring data, safety protection of construction workers in the operation area, early warning of train approach, and transmission of data of on-site equipment, etc., and realizes the full coverage of the same operator’ s network within the management of the Xinshuo Railway of the China Energy and along the railroad line. Through the use of BeiDou positioning, short message and timing technology, it realizes the functions of precise positioning of trains, emergency communication of train control system and synchronization of time clocks, realizes the high-precision positioning of the personnel, equipment and locomotives along the railroad line with the error of positioning accuracy of less than 25 centimeters, and provides high-precision augmentation of real-time location services for mobile devices such as handhelds and vehicle-mounted terminals, so as to meet the requirements for high-efficiency monitoring of modern railroads and the positioning of trains in a continuous and automatic way with high-precision and reliability, and to provide precise location services for the business of natural disaster monitoring, prevention and rescue, locomotive and vehicle positioning and navigation, and the management of logistics of cargoes.

The commissioning of the system has opened the communication barrier between the dispatching command, on-site protection, station protection and operating personnel, established a new mode of three-dimensional command and dispatching, and constructed an integrated railroad safety prevention and control system of “human, physical and technological prevention” for the big data of the China Energy Xinshuo Railway, which will further push forward the development of the digital transformation of the China Energy Xinshuo Railway, and contribute to the construction of the intelligent railroad.
